MediaCorp Channel 8's brand-new variety programme combines lifestyle, health, finance and talent show segments into an exciting afternoon for the silver crowd!

Designed especially for the silver crowd, Silver Carnival delivers information and entertainment in a light-hearted and energetic package, and aims to keep its viewers in touch with current affairs and lifestyle trends.

The 2 episodes shown per week are anchored by a talent show segment, which sees contestants of 50 years and above performing dance, opera, music instruments and martial arts etc. While the 'Living the Golden Age' series was limited to singing competitions, this segment places no restrictions on the type of talent or skills displayed.

The second part of each episode is a colourful celebration of life. Wednesday's episode focuses on lifestyle and health, where on-trend food places and activities will be showcased alongside recipes and tips for staying healthy. Thursday's episode will introduce an inspirational senior in each episode, as well as share financial advice.

The programme's hosts are a refreshing combination of senior-friendly faces. Huang Wen Yong and Vivian Lai are joined by veteran actor Wang Yu Qing, new to the hosting circuit. This companionable team of humourous energy should bring much joy to the viewers of Silver Carnival.

Silver Carnival debuts 5 September 2012, every Wednesday and Thursday, 3.30pm.

新传媒8频道推出崭新午后综艺节目，综合保健，理财，美食和达人秀, 势必为银色一族的下午增添色彩！

专为乐龄设计的《银色嘉年华》，一个星期两集，将资讯与娱乐轻松又有活力地呈现给观众，让乐龄的电视观众与时并进，接触生活新动态。

两集均有《银色达人秀》的固定单元，邀请50岁以上凡有才华的个人或组合参加。比对之前只限于歌唱的《黄金年华》系列，《银色达人秀》的表演形式没有局限，歌舞，戏曲，乐器，武术等才艺皆可。

星期三的《银色嘉年华之活色生香》主题是吃喝玩乐和保健，介绍乐龄最流行的生活娱乐，也介绍养生烹调和医疗保健的知识。星期四的节目《银色嘉年华之跨越人生》则每集介绍一位从事特别活动的乐龄人士，更分享有关理财的资讯。

每集一小时的节目找来了新鲜的主持面孔及配搭，富有'乐龄缘'的黄文永，赖怡伶，王昱清主持格风亲切又幽默，想必能带给观众不少娱乐。

《银色嘉年华》自2012年9月5日起，每逢星期三和星期四，3点30开始播映。

Our company will be featured on “Silver Carnival” (银色嘉年华) scheduled on 19 September 2012, Wednesday at 3.30 pm – 4.30 pm on Mediacorp Channel 8. Our company will be featured in the segment ‘ 快乐不打烊’(which is after 4.00 pm).

It will cover ...a short interview with Mr Gary Seow and our range of CARE products suitable for the active agers, dementia patients and intergenerational play. (CARE stands for Creative Aids & Resources for the Elderly)

We are thrilled to be part of this project and hope that our participation will give the viewers a new appreciation and understanding of how toys can be both therapeutic and fun for seniors citizens.
